Reconciliation
This Sacrament, formerly called "Confession", is a celebration of God's personal forgiveness of sin. Its minister is a priest, and it can be received by any Catholic whenever it is requested. At Regina Caeli a priest is always available to meet on Saturday prior to Vigil Mass, or by apointment.
During Advent and Lent our parish has a communal celebration of this sacrament, at which the community prepares and gives thanks together, while the actual confession of sins is made individually to a priest who absolves the penitent.
